Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/QB
Coach Mazzetta is entering his 5th year as the North Hunterdon Football Programs head coach.
Coach Mazzetta has 11 years’ experience coaching football on the high school level as an assistant coach. Coach Mazzetta has 7 years’ experience as a varsity offensive coordinator, 2 years’ experience as a varsity special team’s coordinator and 2 years’ experience as a Junior varsity Head coach and defensive coordinator.
Coach Mazzetta has 11 years’ experience as head strength and conditioning coach at North Hunterdon.
Coach Mazzetta was a 2 sport athlete at Hunterdon Central High School. He was a member of a team that won two state championships in football as a TE/DE, and a county championship in Basketball. He played collegiately at The University of Virginia Tech where he was a 4 year letterman. Coach Mazzetta was named captain his senior year of the 2004 ACC championship team. Coach Mazzetta also competed in 4 major NCAA bowl games.
Coach Mazzetta is in his 11th year as a Physical Education and Health Teacher at North Hunterdon High School. Coach Mazzetta’s educational background includes a BS in Health and Physical education from the University of Virginia Tech. Master’s degree in Health Promotions from the University of Virginia Tech. 60 Continued education credits in Nutrition, Exercise, Health and Physical education from Montclair State 2006-2007, Cal State at Eastbay 2008 and University of Lavern 2009 – 2010.
Coach Mazzetta and his wife Rebecca have a son’s Mason (5) and Dylan (3) who resides in Bridgewater N.J.
