Media Interviews:
Prior to game day, player interviews must be arranged through the Athletics Office at least one day in advance. Contact the office of sports information for assistance in setting up these interviews and for requests of photographs.
Following a game, requested NHHS players and coaches will be available for interviews following the prescribed cooling off period either on the field, the court, or in a player interview area. NHHS’s locker rooms are closed. Coach interviews can be set up as well through the athletics office.
To coordinate interviews with a student-athlete for general comment or feature stories, media members should contact the athletic office. The office will serve as liaison, but cannot disseminate personal contact information directly to the media.
Media should not attempt to contact student-athletes through social media channels. Doing so may result loss of credentialing at NHHS.
Press/Photo Credentials:
Admittance to the media area in Singley Field, tennis courts or any of the grass fields is limited to working media members only. Credential requests must be made to the office of sports information in advance of any contest, preferably two day prior.
Media credentials will be available at the will call area. For football, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse, that is directly adjacent to the main entrance to the Stadium on the west side of the field, closest to the Regional Road.
NHHS is a member of the NJSIAA, Skyland Conference and the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County and all press box and game day policies will conform to prescribed guidelines.
To request phone lines for events, please contact John Mattes, at least one week prior to a contest. Exceptions will be made in the event of a post-season contest.
Photo passes will be issued to working press photographers only as well those issued credentials by the office of sports information. All photographers are required to follow the NJSIAA guidelines and must remain off the field of play and may not be in the team bench areas.
All photographers must display the issued photo pass at all times and adhere to the facility rules.
