Service Above Self
The North Hunterdon High School Interact Club is a service organization comprised of a unique blend of students representing our total community. The Interact Club is comprised
Of over 400 students and is sponsored by the North Hunterdon Rotary. Involved students are service-minded individuals, who believe in our clubs mission of Service above Self. Members continually remark how in giving, they receive so much. Interact members are involved in many service projects throughout the school year. There is an activity for everyone. Some of our volunteer opportunities include The Skyland Triathlon, Junior Olympics, The Turkey Trot, Haunted Playground at Field of Dreams, the Unified Special Olympic training program and Relay for Life. Throughout the school year, we assist in many other projects as they come up.
The Interact club strives to produce both excellent thinkers and excellent doers. This club’s numerous projects provide students with a myriad of ways to provide service to others. Meetings are held once a month on a Monday at 2:30 in Cafe B. A calendar of our meeting dates and other important information is located on our Interact Bulletin Board located across from the theatre and sign-up sheets are available outside Room 001.
The Interact Oath states:
I believe that together everyone achieves more. Therefore I will sacrifice to give, I will help others to achieve, I will be a friend to all and I will believe that everyone is created equal.
