The North Hunterdon High School Peer Leaders are an ambitious group of students who help incoming freshmen and transfer students transition into the high school. The Peer Leaders guide new students to their classes for several days after registering into the school, support students in need throughout the day and lead an assigned freshmen all year with issues and concerns. Students must be a current 10th or 11th grader to be considered for the program for the upcoming school year and are nominated by a faculty member. There is an application and interview process that both the current Peer Leaders and advisors facilitate. Once selected for Peer Leadership, the newly selected Peers must participate in a mandatory training session.
