Greetings from Rhode Island School of Design! I hope finds you well and your spring semester is going smoothly!
I’m reaching out to you to let you know, this spring I will be hosting a few webinars for the month of March to connect with students in my region (Current: freshmen, sophomores, and juniors) who might be interested in learning more about RISD.
These webinars will include a brief overview of RISD, application + portfolio tips, and upcoming spring events, and then I’ll take your questions. Here are the details:
March 15 and 20 will be “Meet your Regional Rep: Antonio Peters”.
If you have any students interested in getting a portfolio review this spring. Check out the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD). AICAD includes all the big art schools in North America, including RISD. To receive a review, students will need to upload images of their work to AICAD and check off their desired schools. They’ll email the student directly with their feedback.
Save the date: RISD will be hosting an online portfolio review on Thursday, May 8th 4-7! Students can sign up here once the time slots are posted in April.
With that being said, feel free to forward this email to your students and their parents who might be interested.
