In case you missed it, I wanted to make sure you knew about the exciting Summer Institute Programs offered to current high school students by Drexel University’s College of Arts and Sciences this summer. We are now accepting applications in our upcoming programs and there is still time to apply and enroll! If you know a student who will be in high school for the 2025-2026 academic year, encourage them to submit an application today! We will be reviewing applications each week through the payment deadlines.
Offered in a variety of disciplines from mathematics and journalism to Chinese language and culture, these programs give students the chance to learn about a field of interest in an immersive and fun college setting. Additionally, students have the opportunity to work closely with world-renowned faculty and industry experts to develop their academic and professional interests.
Our 2025 Summer Institutes are weeklong programs on Drexel’s Philadelphia campus and in surrounding neighborhoods, which offer an optional overnight residential component:
Camp tuition is $850 per camp. Students who opt to pay by April 30 will receive $50 off the regular tuition rates and pay only $800. Overnight campus stays (with or without on-campus dining vouchers) may be added for an additional fee.
Additionally, Drexel University is pleased to present a two-week long immersive Experiential Chinese language and culture summer program, free of charge, funded through a generous grant from the National Security Agency’s STARTALK initiative. No prior Chinese experience is required. Limited space is available and a select number of participants may also be funded for on-campus overnight housing for the duration of the program.
