Dear Parents/Guardians:
Bus routes are now viewable in Aspen in both student and parent accounts. Log into your parent Aspen account, click on Family top tab, click on student’s name, then click on Transportation tab along the top row of the Details screen, see below:
Please note that bus stop location may have changed for the 2024-2025 school year. Please review your student’s bus route number, pick-up location and pick-up time carefully in Aspen. Students should be at bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to pick up time.
Transportation services for our high school district are managed by Hunterdon County ESC’s transportation office. If you have any questions about transportation, please email Donna Ader at dader@hunterdonesc.org. Any requests for a change in bus assignment must be submitted in writing and emailed to dader@hunterdonesc.org. No requests will be taken by phone. If changes can be made, these changes can possibly take up to 2 weeks for completion.
Vocational Academy Students:
If you do not live in the North Hunterdon-Voorhees district but your student is attending one of the vocational academies housed in our high schools, the bus route will be blank as you must contact your home school’s transportation department for your bus route information. Transportation is the responsibility of the home school.
3:15pm Activity Buses:
The high school district offers an after school activity bus that departs at 3:15pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school year so students can stay after school to attend club meetings, participate in intramurals, or meet with teachers for extra help. Thursday runs have been added back in this year. These 3:15pm routes are different than the normal AM/PM routes and they drop off in centralized locations. If your student needs to stay after school and take the 3:15pm bus, please refer to the routes listed in Aspen to find the right one for your student; log into Aspen, click on Page Directory on left hand side, then click on Transp. Routes. The 3:15pm routes are grouped by the municipalities they cover.
Sincerely,
