March 18, 2020
The superintendent has closed all of the buildings to staff starting today to practice social distancing and stop the spread of coronavirus. Some administrators and staff had been in the building but that will end today. We are available remotely by email if you have any questions or concerns.
The exceptions are that if your student has an issue with his/her Chromebook, he/she can make an appointment with a computer technician to come to the Technology Resource Center (TRC). Appointments will help us limit who is in the building. Please have your student email the TRC technician, Chris Crilly, at ccrilly@nhvweb.net.
Also, meal pickup will continue at Voorhees, but there is a slight change. Meal pickup will take place today and tomorrow from 10:30am-12:00pm at the front entrance at Voorhees (not cafeteria entrance). If you pick up meals today or tomorrow, Pomptonian will give you enough meals for the remainder of this week (there will be no pickup on Friday, March 20). Going forward, meal pickup will only take place on Mondays at Voorhees from 10:30am-12:00pm and you will be given meals for the entire week. Meals will be placed on the shelves in the security vestibule at front entrance of Voorhees High School to minimize person to person contact. If you are unable to pick up meals, we can arrange delivery, please contact Rachel Saxton at Pomptonian at rsaxton@nhvweb.net.
We hope virtual learning is going well for your student. Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we take this closure day by day. Stay safe and healthy!
