On Sept. 16th Angelica Chin departed for Montevideo, Uruguay to participate in the 2017 World Youth Chess Championship. Approximately 400 players from 53 countries competed for a world championship title in their age category. Angelica is part of the official US delegation, one of a 28-member team representing the United States. She is one of the top 10 rated players in her age group in the country. This is her second year qualifying and her first year to travel to the WYCC to compete. Best of Luck to Angelica.
