Dear Parents/Guardians:
Now that we have all dug out from the latest snow storm and school is back in session, here is the revised schedule for administration of Quarterly Assessments:
- Today, Thursday 1/23/14 Common Assessment: Math, Practical Arts & World Language
- Tomorrow, Friday 1/24/14 Common Assessment: Science, Physical Education & Health, and Social Studies
- Monday, 1/27/14 Common Assessment: Language Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Advanced Academic Literacy and Financial Literacy.
In addition, the 2nd marking period will be extended one day to accommodate this testing. The 3rd marking period will now start on Tuesday, January 28. The district calendar has been updated to reflect this change: http://www.nhvweb.net/index.php/community-resources/calendar-2013-2014/.
As a reminder, tomorrow, Friday, January 24 will be a full day for students. There will not be a half day on the last day of the first semester due to the loss of days this week.
