The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District will now be closed for students on Monday, March 16, 2020. Monday will be a full day staff in-service to concentrate on finalizing online instruction plans in the event of a public health-related closure. As we have mentioned previously, the NJ Department of Education will allow online instruction to count towards the 180 school day requirement in the event of a closure at the directive of the Department of Health.
Also on Monday, the custodial staff will be performing a thorough disinfecting of the buildings while students are not present.
All after school activities and athletics will proceed as scheduled.
As we have a couple of extra days built into the school calendar for emergencies, Monday’s closure for students will not change the calendar.
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate through this evolving public health situation.
