On Friday, April 28, 2023, North Hunterdon High School students participated in the Spike for a Cure Volleyball Tournament, which raised over $21,000 for the Jason P. Schaible Memorial Fund.
Spike for a Cure is a round-robin volleyball tournament held every two years (except during COVID-19) to raise money for a charity. This year, about 550 students competed on 56 competitive and non-competitive teams, with members of the North Hunterdon High School girls’ volleyball team serving as referees.
For a fourth time in a row, the high school donated the money raised from Spike for a Cure to the Jason P. Schaible Memorial Fund, which raises money to provide non-medical support services to area families who have children with cancer.
