On August 5-8, 2024, the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District is hosting a STEM Camp for incoming freshmen to both North Hunterdon and Voorhees High Schools. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. No minimum technology experience necessary. Each day will have a specific theme and campers will participate in activities led by current upper-level students and high school science teachers in principles and hands-on labs for four days (3 hours per day). Campers will have time to reflect and regroup at the end of each day, highlighting important concepts learned.
The program will run from 8:30AM to 11:30AM each day, August 5, 6, 7 & 8. The camp will be held at North Hunterdon High School. Cost per student is $85. Camp fee may be sent to North Hunterdon High School, attn: Stacy Ditze, 1445 Rt. 31, Annandale, NJ 08801. Checks should be made payable to NHHS Student Activities. Space is limited. A maximum capacity of 32 campers will be able to sign up for camp. After the camp is full, a waiting list will be created on a first come, first served basis.
