Congratulations to the Golden Lions Marching Band for achieving all Excellent ratings in all fields of Music, Marching, General effect and Overall rating at the 44th Annual Neil Boyer American Heritage Festival of Bands. The Golden Lions won the Best Music award!
The performances that are on display are the culmination of countless hours of practice by the students, and illustrate the creativity and commitment to excellences by the band directors and assistants. At Phillipsburg, these same principles of hard work and dedication apply to our marching band led by Mr. Kyle Fleming. The philosophy of the Festival is to adjudicate bands against a standard of achievement rather than against each other. The standards of achievements are actually determined by the participating bands themselves.
