The Lady Lions, ranked first in The Express-Times region rolled up 43 points to outdistance unbeaten and second-ranked Voorhees (57), third-place North Warren (82) and fourth-place Phillipsburg (158) in the second of the two varsity races run over the relatively flat Sussex County Fairgrounds Cross Country course in Augusta, N.J.
Eve Glasergreen and Cailyn Lavigne ran like their hair was on fire from the start, running 1-2 throughout the race. Eve was clocked in 18 minutes, 5.53 seconds with Cailyn about 50 meters behind in 18:15.
Eve Glasergreen was named the MVP of the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex County Cross Country Girls Championship.
