North Hunterdon High School was recognized today at the New York Yankees annual High School Blood Donor Championships. The program began in 1995 and since then over 750,000 donations have been made by high school students with NYBC. This year NYBC and the New York Yankees recognized North Hunterdon High School as the top donating school with over 1,380 donations during the 2014/15 school year. Dr. Richard Bergacs, Steve Delorenzo and Kelsey Shelofsky accepted the award for North. North Hunterdon High School collected 448 units of blood. This set another school record for the year with a total of 1380 units collected from four blood drives!
