What play practice looks like in 2020:
Our fall 2020 play is a radio drama entitled
The Lost World
That’s right, radio theater! We will produce an audio-only rendition of Arthur Conan Doyle’s story, as told in a script adapted for radio theater by Dramatic Publishing Company’s writers, John de Lancie and Nat Segaloff. Audiences will hear the performance in the comfort of their homes, via live stream.
The Lost World is an adventure/comedy about an expedition to find dinosaurs in South America in the 20th Century. Michael Crichton named his sequel to Jurassic Park after Conan Doyle’s novel, which is the basis of this play.

NHTO offers students a variety of theatrical experiences throughout the school year. Our program is designed to provide opportunities in several performing arts, including drama, comedy, musical theater, dance, and technical theater. All students are invited to participate in NHTO productions.

Thespian Honor Society – Troupe 2642
The Thespians are a club in which students learn skills to be used in various aspects of theatrical performance, including acting, stage crew, and lighting. Thespians participate actively in NHTO productions, and earn points toward membership in and awards from the International Thespian Honor Society. Meetings are most Tuesday afternoons. During show rehearsal seasons, meetings take place briefly at rehearsal.
Membership in Thespians is not required in order to participate in NHTO productions. Auditions and stage crew for shows are open to all NHHS students.
