As the winter season has ended, we want to update you on the status of our emergency closing days.
Four emergency closing days were built into the 2022-2023 district calendar. To date, North Hunterdon High School has used one day and Voorhees has used two. As we do not alter the end of our calendar due to graduation, the calendar will be revised to give back unused emergency closing days as extended weekends.
If no other emergency closing days are needed, the Superintendent will be recommending to the Board of Education to have both schools closed on Friday, May 26 and Friday, June 2, 2023. In addition, North Hunterdon would be closed on Monday, May 22, 2023. These recommended changes will be put before the Board of Education for approval at its meeting on April 25, 2023. We will send confirmation after the meeting and update the calendar on our websites.
