Program Basic Details

Basics

Key Points

All new students are provided a Chromebook by the end of their second week of school. Students have two options:

They can accept the Chromebook from the school.

OR

They can bring their own Chromebook (which need to be enrolled in the school network)

We are a 1:1/BYOD District since 2013. Every student in the District is provided with a device (currently a Chromebook). Students are expected to bring their Chromebook to school every day, and take it home with them each night. Students will utilize their Chromebooks, both, in class, and as an aid during their studies at home.

Students will also use their Chromebook for State-Wide Assessments each Spring.

Chromebooks are provided with a protective case/cover and charger.

Technical Support is provided thru the “Technology Resource Center” or TRC. Any issue with the Chromebook should be reported to the TRC.

The student assigned Chromebook is expected to last for the academic life of the student in the District (typically 4 years).
