What is new for 2014-2015?

For the new school year (2014-2015) the Technology Department has prepared the following enhancement/deployments:

  • We have added 100Mbps of Internet bandwidth to the District. This brings the total Internet bandwidth available for students and staff to 300Mbps.
  • We have a new Student Information System (SIS). Our new SIS is called Aspen and replaces HomeLogic, TeacherLogic, and MIG into a single product. Families, Students, and Staff will use the new system to obtain school and student information such as grades, attendance, discipline records, schedules, etc. The new system is fully web based and can be accessed at https://aspen.nhvweb.net/
  • We have increased the number of Access Points in the schools from 150 to 160 to cover areas identified as “weak” in the previous school year.
  • We will have three grades participating in our 1:1/BYOD program this year: freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Seniors will participate in an BYOD  only program.
