A student-generated, student-run club dedicated to the building of relationships with students in Camden for the purpose of fostering tolerance and acceptance.
– students who already submitted permission slips do not need to resubmit – students who did not submit a permission slip for Jan. 28 and want to go with us on the 4th must submit a permission slip by Monday, Feb. 2 – If you CANNOT go on the trip anymore and gave me a slip, please see me ASAP
Ethnic Dinner – please bring in your contribution by Thursday, Oct. 23 Next Meeting – Thursday, Oct. 23 on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 2:30, room 226 – sign-ups for helping out with waffle and ice cream sale — to be held on Monday, Oct. 27 *we’ll need: bisquick, seltzer, eggs, and ice cream — the rectangular bricks* And we need flyers, tempting signs, etc. We’ll also be presenting the gift card earned by member who sold the most cupcakes in the spring We will be brainstorming the Ethnic Dinner: possible dates, what we can do better than last year, committees, how to get more food, more customers, decorations, advertising Planning a visit FROM our friends in Camden Planning a visit TO Camden Community Service ideas? (to do with Camden) Leadership weekend? **Next meeting: Thursday, Oct. 23** First interest meeting – Thursday, Sept. 11 at 2:30, room 226 ** discussed: Ethnic Dinner – possibly in December **waffles and ice cream sale – to raise money **we decided we will give out some scholarship money to last year’s seniors – thanks to Mr. Starr’s generous donation from Blue’s Fest **we will plan visits and community service projects with Urban Promise and Red Cross after school programs
