New Jersey Blood Services will be back at Voorhees High School for a Blood Drive in the Back Gym from 7:45 am – 3:15 pm on Wednesday, February 21. If you are interested in donating, please sign up for an appointment at nybc.org/drive (the sponsor code is 05444).
For students who are 16 years old (as of 2/21/24), they are eligible to donate with a completed Parent Permission Form. Anyone that is at least 17 years old can donate on their own accord. In all cases, they’ll need a picture ID (ex: school, driver’s license).
For parents and community members that would like to donate during this time: Please register for an appointment at the link above. When you arrive at VHS, please enter the building using the ramp near the football field. Members of our LifeSavers Club (student volunteers) will provide entrance to the building. You will then exit the same way.
Last month, it was announced that blood donations have dropped 40% over the last two decades and remain in short supply so please consider giving the gift of life on Wednesday, February 21.
