The 2021 Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 6:00-10:00pm at Voorhees High School outside in the outfield of the softball field under tents (rain or shine). The dance is open to students in all grade levels. Tickets will be on sale before and after school from September 15th to 22nd. Please see more information below, including the link for the required permission forms that need to be turned in at time of ticket purchase.

Homecoming Dance 2021
Date, Time, Location – Saturday, October 2, 2021, 6pm-10pm, outside on the Softball Field. There will be an actual dance floor but keep in mind (regarding shoe selection) that you’ll need to walk across grass at some point.
Who is eligible to attend? – All VHS Students. Any outside guests under the age of 21 with the necessary Out of School Guest form completed (form included in paperwork linked below).
Ticket Cost – $40 per ticket. This can be in the form of cash or check (made out to VHS Student Activities). This is to cover the cost of the tents, dance floor, lighting, generators, food, etc.
How/When Can I Purchase Tickets? – Tickets will be on sale Wednesday 9/15 – Wednesday 9/22 before school (7:15 – 7:45am) and after school (2:30 – 3:10pm). Tickets will be sold at the 2 tables on the first floor in front of the showcase (between the Mall & Cafeteria). Each VHS student must submit payment, a completed Parent Permission form (bottom of page 1) and a completed Consent to Test form (page 2) at the time of purchase. A completed Out of School guest form (page 3) is only necessary if you would like to bring an out of school guest. Lastly, you need to be sure that any/all obligations have been paid with Mrs. Viscel in the athletic office. You should be able to see any obligations you owe in Aspen – check the Transactions lab. You will not be able to purchase tickets if you have any outstanding obligations.

Hardcopies of forms can also be found on the tables where tickets can be purchased as well.
Food: There will be finger foods and small desserts. Water will be available as well.
Masks: Because this is an outdoor event, masks are not mandatory. Please feel free to wear one if it makes you feel comfortable to do so.
