The Class of 2024 is hosting this year’s Prom at Steelstacks in Bethlehem, PA on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Ticket sales will be held between 7:15am and 7:40am Monday, April 3 – Thursday, April 6 in the mall area. Tickets are $115 each. If tickets sales are to be held at any other time that week (say during lunch or after school), it will be announced. Please don’t wait until the last minute on Thursday, 4/6. It’s an early dismissal without lunches. The line in the morning will be really long and you’ll be late to your first class.
In order to purchase tickets, the following must occur:
1. You must make sure that you have no fines or obligations outstanding (media center, cafeteria, chromebook, etc) at the time of ticket purchase. You should have received an email recently about any fines you may owe. This information is accessible via Aspen parent portal.
2. Please be sure that you are free of any disciplinary action/reason prohibiting you from attending on Thursday, May 25th.
3. If you plan to bring a non-VHS guest, you must also complete page 5 (Out of school guest form) of the prom paperwork (in its entirety) and submit it to the Main Office by Friday, March 31. It will be returned to you in time to purchase your tickets.
4. You need to complete pages 3 & 4 (Permission form for VHS Students & RDT form) of the following packet and submit both at the time of ticket purchase – VHS Junior-Senior Prom 2023 Packet
5. Provide full payment for your ticket(s) at the time of purchase. No tickets will be held for incomplete paperwork or partial payment.
Please read the attached packet (located at the link above) completely with your parents/guardians.
Remember that the day of Prom (Thursday, 5/25) is an early dismissal day. In order to attend Prom that evening, you are expected to be in school for the entire time (7:45-11:55am). Please make any Prom related appointments accordingly. Any exceptions would have to be granted only by Mr. Peterson.
