The World Language Honor Society (WLHS) incorporates four different societies into one, each of them representing a language taught at Voorhees High School (French, German, Latin, and Spanish).
In order to qualify for the WLHS a student must:
– be in the third year of the language
– have an overall grade of an “A-” for two years and maintain good grades
– participate in the respective language club
Once inducted, the student is expected to maintain the averages, peer tutor, and participate in one of the events sponsored by the WLHS: Induction (taking place in November), World Language Day and other activities to help promote world languages
Meetings will take place weekly or every other week depending on the density of activities. Please, check your school e-mail for the updates!
