The Korba Cup intramural hockey season will begin on December 5th. Captains – if you have a team together, email Mr. Makoski for instructions and to be added to the hockey google classroom. Teams are due by 2:25 on Friday December 2. For anyone that isn’t part of a team, email Mr. Makoski because he’s looking to create some or fill in teams.
Attention any Voorhees skier or snowboarder–
ALL Voorhees students are eligible to attend the overnight ski trip to Vermont. It is not just for students that are attending Blue Mountain– it is open to anyone that would like to head north for a weekend of skiing! The trip will spend two days and two nights at Mount Snow, Vermont from March 3rd-5th. The cost of the trip is $450 and includes lodging, transportation, lift tickets, and 3 meals. Check your email regarding all the paperwork and payment details. Please see Mrs. Kerr, Ms. Luckhardt, or Mr. Makoski for any general questions about the trip. Paperwork must be turned in to Mrs. Kerr. The trip is full once all of the available spots are filled.
The Environmental Sustainability and Engineering Academy is hosting a handmade holiday soap fundraiser! These soaps are handmade by one of our students. Check your email for ordering details.
A reminder to those of you that signed up to donate items for the Key Club/United Way Helping Hands fundraiser through the online sign up genius – donations are to be brought to Voorhees High School no later than TODAY.. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Collins, Mrs. Smith, or a member of the VHS Key Club.
Please help us make the holidays a bit brighter for families in our Voorhees Community. There is a Giving Tree in the main office at Voorhees High School with tags for families in our community. Please take a tag (or two) and sign the sheet with your name and contact information.There are still quite a few tags left – most asking for gift cards.
