Tomorrow is the last day for Winter Intramurals. The gym will be open for basketball after school and the weight room will be open until 4. The Korba Cup Finals will be played Monday afterschool in the back gym. Be on the lookout tomorrow for registration for Spring Intramurals – the lone activity will be the Weight Room. The first day of Spring Weight room will be Monday March 6.
The annual Voorhees High School Pops Concert will be held TONIGHT February 23rd at 7:00 pm in the VHS auditorium. This year, members of the Voorhees Concert Band, String Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Marching Band will perform musical selections from the big and small screen. This concert is unlike other concert performances throughout the year as, in addition to music, it features lighting effects, choreographed routines, and a less conventional staging of performers. Tickets are $10 and now on sale! Tickets can be purchased in advance through Mr. Reynolds.
Seniors, Local Scholarships are now posted on the Counseling Department website. Please look under Scholarships and Awards at the Voorhees Local Scholarships. Check the list bi-weekly for new scholarship postings. Check the scholarship list below it for other scholarship opportunities.
Seniors – The Voorhees Counseling Department will be hosting an RVCC application session on March 22nd. Representatives from RVCC will guide students through the application process. The deadline to register for the session is March 17th. Seniors need to sign up with Mrs. Guidi in the Counseling Office.
