English SAT & ACT Help will be meeting every Thursday after school in room 225 with Mr. Crane
Video Club will be meeting TODAY after school in room 245 to brainstorm ideas for a movie VHS students will be making. Join them if you are interested in lending your talents.
There will be a crew meeting for Fiddler on the Roof TODAY from 2:30- 3:10. We will discuss scheduling, and how to get involved.
Attention Classes of 2028, 2027, 2026 – you can now enter in your elective requests for the next school year in Aspen until January 20th. Make sure you review the scheduling video your school counselor has emailed to you. You will be meeting with your counselor starting January 27th to review your schedule requests.
Friday Morning Lights (Bible Club) meets every Friday in room 135 at 7am. All are welcome.
Tomorrow is a half day and last day of the 1st semester and 2nd MP. AM Polytech will run as usual. There’s no PM Polytech at Bartles and Central. Animal Science will run in the morning and afternoon. Seniors with Block 2 study hall 1st period should be here by 8:15.
Seniors – for those of you with a study hall 2nd semester, make sure you have your form on file with Mrs. Pennucci to arrive late when it’s 1st period or leave early when it’s last period. If you completed the form at the beginning of the year, you do not have to do it again.
The Hunterdon County Vocational FFA chapters are hosting an animal shelter drive from January 20th through February 3rd. The list of supplies can be found in your email and posted around the school. Donations can be dropped off in the green bins outside the new cafe. The supplies will be donated to Pura Vida Animal Rescue Inc. in Hunterdon County – a local non-profit that aims to provide affordable/accessible veterinary care for the community and offer programs benefiting animals that have been abused, neglected, and need rehabilitation. Thank you in advance to all who donate!
Seniors, Local Scholarships are now posted on the Counseling Department website. Please look under Scholarships and Awards at the Voorhees Local Scholarships. Check the list bi-weekly for new scholarship postings.
Don’t forget Pomptonian’s Healthy Cooking Challenge Contest. Submissions are due February 24th. Prizes are available and your meal could be featured in school cafeterias. Check your email, the tvs or the VHS website for more information.
