TONIGHT the Guidance department will be hosting an Early College Planning Night for all 9th-10th and 11th graders! Students, bring your parents to this informative evening. The program starts at 7pm in the Auditorium!
Tickets for the choir’s annual Coffeehouse TOMORROW night at 7:00 are still on sale! The cost is $10 and the night will feature songs from the 2000s including Just The Way You Are, Love Story, Hey There Delilah, Lucky, and many more. See Mr. Finck in room 110 to purchase your ticket.
There will be a SHIP meeting on March 18th and March 26th to plan and sign up for the upcoming SHIP visits. Please plan on attending one of the meetings if you plan on going on the visits.
The VHS Drama Club Spring Musical is “Catch Me if You Can”. They’ll be performing April 2 through April 5. You can purchase tickets by seeing Mr. Reynolds in the music area. Tickets are $12 for students and $14 for adults ($15 at the door).
Attention all seniors who plan to attend RVCC after graduation!! There will be an RVCC admissions person here in Room 135 on FRIDAY, March 20 during L1 and L2 for you to process your application. All applications submitted on this day will have NO REGISTRATION FEE! No credit or debit cards will be needed! BUT…you must bring the following items:
- your Chromebook
- photo ID (can be your driver’s license, passport or VHS ID)
- anything that might exempt you from a placement test – that can be your SAT or ACT scores, 11th grade PARCC or AP test scores
TD Bank Ballpark is having a Job Fair on Saturday, March 28 from 9 am to Noon at the Ball Park in Bridgewater. Lots of jobs are available, but you must be 16 years old ON or BEFORE August 1. Go to guidance for more information and a job application!”
Seniors: New scholarships have been added to the Scholarship List in Naviance. Please know that there are still active scholarships listed on the Local Scholarship link on the Guidance website. The Newcomers Club of North Hunterdon Scholarship has re-extended its deadline. It is active again and is due April 1. Please see Ms. Grilli-DeRobbio in Guidance if you have any questions about any of these scholarships.
The Environmental Academy and Polytech are hosting an Applebee’s Breakfast April 5th. Tickets are available for $13, all funds raised are going to support a summer research trip on primates and large felines. Please see Mrs. Cussen in room 333 for tickets.
