Attention LifeSavers… We will have a meeting on Monday, April 29 after school in room 213 to prepare for our upcoming blood drive on May 14. If you do not attend the meeting, you cannot participate on the day of the blood drive. For this blood drive, we are going to ask that only students in grades 10, 11, and 12 attend this meeting. The ESEA FFA Chapter is hosting their annual honey sale from April 12-26. The honey is local from one of our students, and the proceeds support chapter activities. Please contact any ESEA student or Ms. Stillwell with questions and to order
The History Honor Society will be hosting a Voter Registration event during L1 & L2 on Wednesday May 1 in the Mall area. As long as you are 17, you are able to register. Please bring your driver’s license and know your Social Security number.
Over the weekend, 54 students representing the Voorhees High School Choir & Marching Band traveled to Norfolk Virginia to participate in the Virginia International Music Festival & 71st annual NATO Parade of Nations. The choir sang the national anthem in front of military leaders from around the world while the band marched alongside over 90 parade units from around the world. The marching band received a silver ranking in the high school marching competition.
The choir members participated in the Virginia International Music Festival where they came in 1st place in the Concert Choir Division with a gold ranking
