The Media Center is now open during study halls. A reminder that you’ll have to create a smart pass to show to your teacher and arrive to the Media Center within the first 10 minutes of the period. You will also need your ID to check into the library.
Slight change to the bus lineup out front at dismissal… for those of you that take non-Voorhees bus routes – academy students or students live outside the VHS sending districts – your vans/buses will be located in front of the auditorium entrance along the curb facing rt 513. The exceptions are for those of you that take the HC bus route 6 and the Animal Science AS01 bus. Those buses will be in the same locations they were on Thursday and Friday.
Drama club will have pre-season audition prep tomorrow and Thurs from 3:10 to 5:30. If you are interested in auditioning for the fall show you should plan to attend the practices. A show announcement is likely on Thurs!
For those of you that get dropped off in the morning, please remind the driver that they need to drop you off in the normal dropoff line facing the school (between the Auditorium and Main Entrances). They are not to park in any numbered senior parking spots (designated in white) or in the blue spots facing 513 as they are designated accordingly.
Photo Day for Grades 9-11 will be Thursday 8/29. A reminder that all students should report to the Auditorium to have their photo taken for both yearbook and ID purposes (needed to sign into locations and to purchase lunch). Order forms have been distributed in English classes and sent home as well.
History Honor Society will be having an interest Meeting during L2 this Thursday, August 29th in room 311. HHS is available to all Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Art Club will be having an interest meeting in room 243 after school Thursday 8/29.
Key Club is having an ice cream social and first meeting of the year after school Thursday, September 5 in the new cafe. If you are interested in community service and philanthropy, please check out what Key Club has to offer.
