A reminder to check your email daily for meeting reminders – from your Counselors especially.
All 9th, 10th, 11th graders – A reminder that Aspen is OPEN to accept course requests for the 2023-2024 school year. You have until January 21st to do so. Any changes afterwards must be made with your counselor. Please take time to review all directions and the course selection guide before entering course requests. The final step in the process asks students to print a list of requested courses to be signed by both parent/guardian and student to be emailed to the counselor by January 21. Any questions, please reach out to your counselor.

The VHS Key Club is hosting a NEW blanket drive until 1/23. There are green bins in front of the cafeteria (outside) for NEW blankets to be dropped off. Check your email for more details.

Seniors, Local Scholarships are now posted on the Counseling Department website. Please look under Scholarships and Awards at the Voorhees Local Scholarships. Check the list bi-weekly for new scholarship postings. Check the scholarship list below it for other scholarship opportunities.
Seniors – check your email and the senior mall area for permission slips for the Senior Class Trips at the end of the year. Forms are due FRIDAY.

Fencers had a great Saturday at the Gil St. Bernards Invitational
The Girls finished:

- 5th in Epee
- And 2nd Overall!
The Boys finished:
- 1st in Foil
- 1st in Epee
- 2nd in Sabre
- And 1st Overall…CHAMPIONS!
Voorhees was 1st as a school overall.

The girls swim team did an amazing job at their Skylands meet this weekend. Freshman Natalie Mason broke the team’s 200 free record with a time of 2:01.02 and Senior Faith Hamilton broke the 200 IM record with a time of 2:21.03.
Austin Keeth broke two personal records in the boy’s competition, swimming a 58.49 in the 100 butterfly and 1.01.61 in the 100 backstroke
