German Club is having a Karneval celebration TOMORROW after school in room 255
There will be a gaming club meeting TOMORROW from 2:30-3:10 in room 250. We will discuss the upcoming party.
TOMORROW at 7:00 pm, the Voorhees High School Counseling Department with host an Introduction to College Planning program. The program will take place in the auditorium.
Students and parents/guardians are welcome to attend.

Students 4 Change is hosting a throw and catch tournament on Thursday March 9. Teams are composed of 6 players. Each player needs to pay $5. You can get your registration forms from Mrs. Castello in room 221. All forms and team registration is due TOMORROW.
The Choir Coffeehouse will take place on Friday, March 10. There will be 2 performances – 6 & 8pm. Tickets are $10 and you can get them by seeing Mr. Finck in the music area.
Movie Club will be hosting a movie night this Friday 3/10 from 5:30-8 in the New Cafe.
There will be a gaming club party on friday 3/10 from 3:00-8:00 in the back gym. All are welcome! The cost is $3 for members and $5 for non-members.

Seniors, Local Scholarships are now posted on the Counseling Department website. Please look under Scholarships and Awards at the Voorhees Local Scholarships. Check the list bi-weekly for new scholarship postings. Check the scholarship list below it for other scholarship opportunities.
Seniors – The Voorhees Counseling Department will be hosting an RVCC application session on March 22nd. Representatives from RVCC will guide students through the application process. The deadline to register for the session is March 17th. Seniors need to sign up with Mrs. Guidi in the Counseling Office.
Studies show that Social Emotional Learning delivers long-term improvements in skills, behavior, and academic performance while reducing anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. SEL competencies are also critically important for long-term success in today’s economy. Students are invited to sign up to visit with the therapy dogs on Wednesday, March 8 in L1 and L2. Therapy animals promote connection and manage anxiety. There’s lots of great research about the benefits of spending time with therapy animals. All students who attend will be eligible to win free stuff, too!
