Juniors – a reminder that Normandy Studios is here in room 135 through June 6 for the purpose of 2024 Senior Portraits. Hopefully you made an appointment and will remember to go to room 135 at the appropriate time.
VHS is hosting a blood drive TODAY from 7:45 – 3:15 in the back gym. 16 year olds are able to donate with a parent permission form. All 17 and 18 year olds are eligible to donate on their own. Please check your email for the link to register for an appointment.
The 2023 yearbooks are in. Distribution will take place in the school store (in the new cafe on the elevator side) – see the window. Yearbook distribution for all students will take place during L1 & L2 periods TODAY and TOMORROW. For those that ordered yearbooks, please have your ID available at the time of pickup. There are a lot of people and it is much easier than trying to hear all the names. For those that didn’t order a yearbook but would like to purchase one – they are available on a first come, first served basis for $100. Cash or check (made out to VHS Student Activities) will be accepted.
The last Spanish Club meeting of the school year will be held after school TOMORROW in room 257.
German Club will be having its last meeting of the year TOMORROW after school in Room 255. There will be a Spaghettieis (“spaghetti ice”) party and a murder mystery activity.
There will be a boys’ soccer pre-season informational meeting at 2:30pm on Wednesday, May 31st in room 250 (driver’s education classroom). Details for the upcoming summer schedule as well as the fall season will be discussed. If a student cannot attend due to other commitments, they should contact Coach Barbieri as soon as possible.
Congratulations to the Girl’s lacrosse for defeating Mount Saint Mary yesterday 18-10. Ava Keiser had 4 goals and 5 (!!!) assists and Keira Libro scored 6 goals including her 100th career goal
