German Club is having a Halloween meeting on Thursday, October 24th in room 255 at 2:30.
A reminder that the non-perishable food drive is going on throughout this week. This is an important event that we run each year to help our local families in need enjoy their holiday season. We need all of your support to make this event a success! In addition, this is a big part of Spiritfest and currently seniors are in first, freshman in second, juniors in third, and sophomores in fourth.

The Girls and Boys Fencing Teams will hold a pre-season informational meeting on Thursday, October 24th immediately after school in the main Cafeteria. Everyone participating in fencing is encouraged to attend. Anyone interested in trying a new sport is welcome to come and meet the team and the coaches. No previous fencing experience is required, beginners are welcome! If you are unable to come to the meeting, contact Madame Morgan, Coach Clawson or Coach Marsh.
Attention Swimmers—The Swim Team’s pre-season meeting is on Wednesday, October 30th, at 2:30 in Room 333. If you cannot attend, contact Coach Hanley or Coach Napholz.
Attention seniors, there will be a decorating meeting in room 322 today and tomorrow from 2:30-4:00. We could use as much help as possible! Seniors, there are still 14 extra tshirts for sale for spiritfest. All those interested should come to room 322 with $20 to secure your shirt.
SAT and ACT Math help will be held in room 340 on Mondays after school with Ms. Wieteszka.
The first photo club meeting will be on Tuesday October 22 in room 240.
The next video club meeting will be on Wednesday October 23 in room 245.
The annual winter festival craft show hosted by the VHS Music Association will take place on Saturday, November 23rd from 9 AM – 3 PM. There will be over 100 vendors, great food, and music!
A reminder that PSAT’s are Wednesday for 9, 10, 11, and select 12 grade students. Please check your email for your testing location.

National English Honor Society is holding its October Flash Fiction Contest. The theme is Alien Invasion. For more information about rules and requirements visit the Media Center. Submissions are due by the end of the month
