TODAY is a half day for students due to teacher in-service. No lunches, no direct studies. No intramurals after school.. There is no PM Polytech at Bartles or Central. Animal Science will meet in both the morning and afternoon.
Study Halls this week (Monday 12/9 through Friday 12/13) will be moving to the New Cafe due to preparations for the Winter Concerts. Thursday 12/12 – Block 6 – report to the Main Cafe.
V 20 will have its own bus for today’s dismissal.
A key (looks like a house key) was found in the Main Cafeteria last week. If someone is missing a house key please come to the Main Office to pick it up.
The Music Department is hosting their Choral Concert TOMORROW at 7 in the Auditorium. Admission is free.
The holidays are upon us as everyone knows. We get out of school next Friday and have a great amount of time to celebrate with friends and family. Unfortunately, holidays aren’t always a great time for others in our school that are experiencing difficult times at home both emotionally and financially. Please help make our students Holidays a little brighter this year. There are still gift tags on the tree in the main office. Please take a tag and buy a gift for a VHS student that needs our assistance this season. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Video Club will be TOMORROW after school in 245
There will be a gaming club meeting this week TOMORROW from 2:30-3:00 in room 323.
The Relay for Life Committee will be selling Shirly Temples TOMORROW after school for $2 each. There will be cherries.
English SAT & ACT Help will be meeting every Thursday after school in room 225 with Mr. Crane
Friday Morning Lights (Bible Club) meets every Friday in room 135 at 7am. All are welcome.
Key Club is hosting its annual cookie walk on Friday after school from 2:30-3:10. You can walk through the mall to fill your cookie bag with a variety of different homemade and store bought Christmas Cookies. Small bags are $5 and large bags are $10.
The Class of 2026 is hosting a Pie a Teacher fundraiser. Buy raffle tickets for $1 each during lunch and see members of our staff get pied during next Friday’s pep rally.
The lost and found table in the New Cafe is overflowing. If you think you misplaced something, please take a look and claim anything that is yours. Anything that is left on the table as of December 20 will be donated.
