PM Polytech students – a reminder that you still get on your respective buses at 11:30. Therefore, after Block 4 (2nd period) you should report directly to the main cafeteria for lunch. You will be excused from your Block 1 class (3rd period). For those of you that drive to PM Polytech, you are free to sign out with Mrs. Pennucci after Block 4 as well.

Are you interested in playing pickleball or volleyball after school? The intramural program will be opening up some new activities for the next few weeks on Mondays/Wednesdays, and Thursdays when there is not Unified Practice. Basketball will still be available every day.
See the TV announcements, the activity calendar that will be hung in the entrance to the gym, or Mr. Makoski for any questions. All intramural participants must sign up in aspen and be cleared to participate. Staff are welcome to play Volleyball and pickleball if you have sneakers on. Pickleball and Volleyball will be held on TODAY and TOMORROW of this week.
The Thrift Store is open for students during L1 and L2; it’s in the language hallway on the second floor (room 263) – come on by.
Calling all math-a-letes! The 4th NJ Math League Contest is being held from Tuesday 1/16/24 – Thursday 1/18/24 . The contest closes promptly at 3 pm on Thursday, so be sure to get it done!
If you are interested in being a Unified Peer Leader next year, applications for next year are due Friday, January 19th. They can be found in the Counseling Office.
VHS Unified is hosting a Silent Disco on Thursday, January 18 from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 during lunches or by seeing Mrs. Emmert, Mrs. Colangelo or Ms. Polgar. Tickets will be $15 at the door. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
The Animal Science Program is collecting donation items for Animal Alliance. The drive will be held from January 4th to the 19th. Supplies needed are listed on the attached poster and can be dropped off in the green bins outside the New Cafeteria. If you chose to donate a gift card please drop them off to Miss Ruggieri in room 333.
