The PTSO began sponsoring the “Student of the Month” program during the 2006-07 school year as a way of rewarding students who have demonstrated exceptional character. We will be choosing one student from each grade as student of the month. Each month we will focus on one of the “Six Pillars of Character” as defined by the “CHARACTER COUNTS!” Coalition.
The Six Pillars of Character are :
Trustworthiness (September and October)
Respect (November)
Caring (December and January)
Responsibility (February)
Fairness (March and April)
Citizenship (May and June)
