Materials:
- Notebook
- Writing Utensil
- 1 Folder for graded assignments( I will keep the folder for documentation and parent meetings.)
- 1 Folder to hold in-class work
Grading Policy
As a whole:
- All grading will be of the composite format (i.e. each assignment will be assigned a specific value determined by the importance, length, and other determining factors)
Homework:
- Students will be assigned homework throughout the year. Students will be given a due date and expected to turn in an assignment on time.
- Furthermore, I will not seek out students who miss homework because of absence. It is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to find out what they have missed the previous day(s). All class materials have been uploaded to a shared folder on Google Drive or posted on Google Classroom.
Test Policy:
- Students will be notified of a test approximately a week ahead of time. If possible, a review will be given a day before the major unit test. Therefore, no new material will be taught. If a student misses the day prior to the test, the student will be responsible for making up the test the next day they are present in class. If a student misses two days they will receive one day to make up. If a student misses three days they will receive two days to make up. If a student misses more than three days prior to the exam, I will work with the student to decide a course of action.
Missed Assignments:
- Students are expected to consult the teacher when assignments have been missed. All assignments have been uploaded to a shared folder that can be accessed by the students through their student emails (Google Drive or Google Classroom).
- Communicate. I will work with you.
