Allison Lane scored eight goals and dished out two assists to lead top-seeded North Hunterdon, No. 19 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, over second-seeded Voorhees, 21-7, in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tournament final.
Lane’s standout performance led to her being named the game’s MVP in North Hunterdon’s third straight H/W/S title.
Caroline Coleman added five goals, while Julia Wood finished with four goals and four assists. Breanna Cavanaugh scored three goals and Madison Martino made 17 saves for North Hunterdon. Brittney VanVeldhuisen and Hannah Ryan led Voorhees with two goals apiece, while Katie Koller chipped in three points.
North Hunterdon jumped out to a 15-5 lead at the half.
