The North Hunterdon H.S. Lady Lions competitive Cheer squad placed 7th out of 52 teams in the Small Varsity Division 1 category. This is one of the most competitive divisions at Nationals with teams performing the most elite stunts and tumbling at the high school level. The North cheerleaders also took 2nd place in the Game Day Championship, in which the girls demonstrated their ability to respond to real game scenarios and utilize their skill in sideline cheers, dance, jumps, gymnastics, and stunting to effectively lead the crowd. We are so proud of the girls’ performances and all of the hard work they put into the season!
