Our objective is to encourage and support ALL athletic teams through fundraising and volunteer efforts. School spirit involves not only the students but their most important fans…their families! We both want and need to support our student-athletes in their pursuit of their dreams….WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Dear North Hunterdon Families:
As we look forward to the upcoming school year, we would like to invite you to join the North Hunterdon Booster Club. We are continually looking for new members who are able to volunteer their time and efforts to support our student-athletes. Your family membership fee of $30 helps us provide all administration support (Non-profit status, banking, insurance) for the 35 Umbrella Clubs, support the Athletic department with programs and requested items (scoreboards, AED.s, etc), and host special events (coaches breakfasts, Dave the Rave celebration, Custodial Luncheon, Trainer recognition, etc.), as well as provide over $9,000 annually in Senior Scholarships.
The North Hunterdon Main Booster Club oversees the 35 teams who have organized “Umbrella Clubs”. Each individual sport is encouraged to run its own “Umbrella Club” that specifically supports all levels of its team. Umbrella Club Representatives are the liaison between their team and coach and the Main Booster Club. Individual teams are able to fundraise and host activities with the support of BC with the club’s non-profit status, insurance, and financial support. All teams are encouraged to have 75% of their families as current members to be considered an active Umbrella Club.
