• The Tech Resource Center (TRC) will be closed today. Anyone needing urgent Chromebook help can stop by the Tech Office across from the Guidance Office.
• It’s Banned Books Week, the annual celebration of your right to read. Today’s featured book is “Speak” by Laurie Halse Anderson, which has been targeted for removal from some libraries for containing a political viewpoint and discussing sexual violence. See “Speak” and other frequently banned books on display in the Media Center, and be sure to enter our Banned Books Week contest online for your chance to win a Dunkin gift card. • Patriotic Youth Club will hold its second meeting today, in room 241, right after school. All new members are welcome!
• The Ski and Snowboard Club will be having their first meeting today at 2:30pm in Cafe B. Please attend to receive information on how to register for this year!
• There will be a Girls Basketball interest meeting tomorrow at 2:30 in the Freshman health room. Anyone interested please attend this brief meeting. If you cannot attend and are interested in playing, please email or speak with Coach Matisak, Coach Furman, Coach Hissner, or Coach Thorsen.
• Attention boys interested in trying out for the basketball team this year. There will be a brief informational meeting tomorrow at 2:30 pm in room 134. If you can’t make it, please reach out to Coach Rehrig, Coach Ruscher, or Coach Kley.

• There will be a meeting for any girl interested in joining the swim team next Wednesday, October 6th in Room 120.
• There will be a Wrestling interest meeting next Wednesday, October 6, in the Freshman Health room, 135a, after school for those interested in Wrestling this year.
In sports news, the girls’ volleyball team beat Bridgewater-Raritan, 2-0 and girls’ field hockey also beat Bridgewater-Raritan, 9-1.
