• For the homecoming football game tonight, we anticipate a long ticket line! To avoid waiting and speed up the process, please bring exact change of two dollars for students and three dollars for adults
• Northern Lights Art and Literary Magazine is now accepting submissions for their first blog of the year: IMAGINATION! Submit your themed poetry and art to northernlights@nhvweb.net (northern – lights – at – NHVWEB – dot – net) and use your imagination!
• Any boys who are interested in fencing. The preseason meeting will be held in room 125 on October 20 after school. If you are interested or need the google classroom code please stop by to see Mr. McKinnon.
• The Girls’ Fencing Pre-Season meeting will be on Thursday, October 21, at 2:30 in room 150. Returning players and anyone interested with little or no experience are welcome to attend. Please bring your charged chromebook. Email Mr. Maurella with any questions.
• If you are interested in joining the Golden Lions as a guest during our band night on Friday, October 22nd, please see Mr. Hopta or Mr. Boccuti in the Music Dept.
• In sports news: The girls’ volleyball team beat Voorhees in Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament, Quarterfinal Round, 2-0. The field hockey team beat Montgomery, 8-0.
• Congratulations to the members of the Boys Country team on a huge team effort at the Hunterdon Warren Sussex Championship. Our Varsity, JV, and freshmen all won. Special congratulations to the following guys who finished in the top 10: Aaron Wysocki, Dave McKinnon, Carter Beswick. Congratulations also to Luke Miller on winning the JV race.
• Congratulations to the Girl’s Cross-Country team for winning the Hunterdon Warren Sussex Cross-Country Championships yesterday. Congratulations to that Varsity squad of Addison Schmidt, Sam Ciardiello, Paige Boyce, Cassidy Roop, Saralyn Frederick, and Peyton Lewis. A huge congratulations to Cassidy Roop for taking home the individual title with a time of 19 minutes 29 seconds. Great job girls, keep grinding!!”
