Congratulations to Addison Schmidt, Samantha Ciardiello, Paige Boyce, Peyton Lewis, Saralyn Frederick, Cassidy Roop, and Brooke Richards for winning the Girl’s Cross-Country Sectional team title this past Saturday at Oak Ridge Park. This the 7th year in a row the North Hunterdon girls have taken home the Sectional title. The girls will advance the Group 3 State Championships this Saturday. A special congratulations to Cassidy Roop for winning the individual title and breaking the course record. Since Sectionals started in 1983, the North Hunterdon girls have never failed to make it to the Group Championships. Great job girls! Keep grinding
Congratulations to Madison Lertola, Jayna Kawas, and Alexis Ondovik for competing at the girls’ gymnastics sectionals this past Saturday. Results are: Madison – 9th on vault, 11th on uneven bars and 10th on floor. Jayna – 9th on bars, 12th on beam, 9th in the All-Around competition, and 3rd on vault, which advances her to compete for the state title for the vault competition on the 13th. Way to go Lions!
Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team on winning the State Sectional Championship. Our top runners were: Dave McKinnon, Carter Beswick, Aaron Wysocki, Jeremy Bavaro, Lucas Miller, Brayden Barro, Asa Alderman. Special congratulations to Dave McKinnon for taking 2nd in the race, and to Carter Beswick on taking 5th. The boys now advance to the state group 3 championship next Saturday.
