• Congratulations to members of North’s Prism club, which – along with the Voorhees Spectrum club — received the 2022 Intellectual Freedom Award from the New Jersey Library Association. The award recognizes the combined effort of Prism and Spectrum members to oppose book banning in the district and support students’ right to read.
Congratulations to our Girls Track and Field Team who piled up 128 points to run away with a 48-point win over Mendham for its first sectional state title since 2018 and its 8th title overall! A special shout out to some individual performers: Senior Alexa LaSasso led the Lions to the team title by collecting three gold medals and placing second in another event to account for 38 points. LaSasso won the 800, finished first in the 400, ran on the winning 4×400 team, and placed second in the 400 hurdles. North also received victories from senior Sophia Reich in the 1,600 and sophomore Lindsey Danson in the pole vault. Congratulations ladies! Our Boys Track and Field team also had a strong showing, finishing second overall led by Junior Kente Edwards who dominated the short sprints by winning the 100m and the 200m. Great effort Boys!
