• In honor of Constitution Month, this week we are celebrating our First Amendment freedom to read. At North we are free to read Brave New World by Aldous (ALL-duss) Huxley. Number-five on the Modern Library’s list of the 100 Best English Language Novels of the 20th Century, Brave New World is a dystopian novel about what happens when the government controls powerful technology. But in some schools and libraries, access to Brave New World is restricted or prohibited. To learn why, stop by the Media Center to view our Freedom to Read display, and enter our contest for a chance to win a Dunkin gift card.
