This week we are celebrating our First Amendment freedom to read. At North we are free to read The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon. Winner of the 2006 Garden State Teen Book Award, it’s the story of a brilliant teenage boy with autism who sets out to solve the murder of his neighbor’s dog. But in some schools and libraries access to The Curious Incident is restricted or prohibited. To learn why, stop by the Media Center to view our Freedom to Read display and enter our contest for a chance to win a Dunkin gift card.
