• Boys Volleyball will have an interest meeting tomorrow from 2:30-3:10 in room 135 B. Please reach out to coach Prado or coach Matisak with any questions.
• There will be a golf interest meeting in Room 135B tomorrow immediately after school for both the Girls and Boys Golf Teams.
• The boy’s tennis pre-season meeting will be held on Monday, January 30 at 2:30 in room 217. Anyone interested in trying out must attend the meeting. If you cannot make it please contact coach Niznik or coach Schuetz.
• Reminder all Unified Leadership applications are due by this Friday, 1/27. Paper copies of the application are available outside of room 121 or in the email sent by Mr. Pellechio. If you have questions, email Mrs. Byron.
• Northern Lights Art and Literary Magazine is now accepting submissions for its new blog theme: REBIRTH. Original pieces of artwork and poetry can be submitted to northernlights@nhvweb.net
• Show Choir is looking for a beatboxer to perform with them in their concerts! Anyone who has experience, talent, or even just an interest in beatboxing should contact Mrs. Cudworth or any Music Department faculty member.
• Attention Class of 2023. Class shirts are available for sale until the end of this week. Look for flyers around the building for the online store information!
• The Enrollment Coach from RVCC will be here at North on Thursday, February 2 for the application session. This session is for seniors only. The meeting will be held in the Media Center from 9:43-10:38. The coach will take you through the complete application process. There is no fee! Please see Ms. Fisher in the Counseling Dept. to sign up.
Over the weekend, North’s fencing teams competed at the Santelli/Cetrulo tournament. This is the largest high school fencing completion in the world. The girls’ team had an exceptional day and finished tied for 6th out of 50 total teams. This was their best finish in 20 years. Everyone fenced well but two athletes had particularly good days: Senior, Janie McSweeney, had a record of 13 wins with only 1 loss. Sophomore, Maya Wilson had her best day of the year with a record of 11 wins and 2 losses.
