The boys and girls fencing teams competed at the Skyland Conference Frosh/Soph Tournament over the weekend and the team had multiple athletes make the finals. Nate Cosuelo placed 4th in Sophomore Boys Saber. In sophomore Girls foil, Annie Wilson placed 3rd, and Maya Wilson, finished in 6th place. Caleb Dushinka placed 6th in Sophomore Boys Epee, Ann Kallacheril placed 2nd in Sophomore Girls Saber and Saanvi Sachin placed 7th in Freshman Girls Saber. Congratulations to Dave McKinnon and Brody Sible of the boys’ track and field teams for their performances at the Group 3 State Championships this past weekend. Brody placed 2nd in the High Jump and Dave placed 3rd in the 3200-meter run. Both performances qualified the boys to the Meet of Champions in two weeks.
